The fridge is pre-cooled before you use it (we found this to be very effective in the morning while we're getting the kids' milk bottles ready) to ensure an optimal temperature and minimise energy expenditure.
The InstaView Door in Door also reveals a second compartment within the fridge that is ideal for storage of food and drinks. It features an LED light strip of 24cm to illuminate and keep everything organised. The compartment is accessible via both the InstaView pane and the main door of the fridge. We did notice that it was easier to load items in the top balcony through the Door-in-Door, rather than from the main fridge cabinet but that's a minor issue.
These LG fridge freezers also have other features that keep food fresher for longer. For instance, Surround Cooling, and Pure N Fresh. These combine traditional rear and front cooling outlets, along with the ability to deodorize, and an active fan that pushes air around and through the fridge shelves. The LFXS30796D also comes with a UVNano dispenser that emits a brief burst of UV light every hour to fight bacteria, while a "freshness sensor' alerts you when it's time to replenish your refrigerator's contents.
The LFXCS27596S French door refrigerator has 33 cubic feet of capacity. The LRDCS2603S is a top freezer with 26 cubic feet of capacity. Both models come with InstaView Door in Door technology, as well as various other advancements.
